We can’t get enough of it: provided it is subtly controlled. We hate glare.

And we love top light. This is not new; it has been used throughout history and, in particular, in the nineteenth century. We continue to find it a good option because it is somehow more interesting than light coming from the side and, if centralised, can give a more even distribution.
