Our work tends to fall into two categories defined by their structural method - lightweight or heavyweight. Our light-weight buildings are built fast, usually made of timber, highly insulated and well sealed; they sit lightly on the ground, and smell nice. We like to use local wood if we can.

We have an even greater number of heavyweight buildings: buildings with a clear structural grid which is well proportioned, adaptable and sustainable. Heavy-weight buildings help temper the extremes of temperature.
