About The Project
Letheringsett Mill is an early C19 Grade II* listed historic watermill on the Glaven River, in North Norfolk. Exceptionally, it continues in working use, producing and selling flour from local grain, and is a successful local visitor attraction. Following some conversations whilst buying flour, the leaseholder commissioned van Heyningen and Haward Architects to produce an initial Feasibility Study, assessing the options for creating a small tearoom and bakery next to the Mill, to increase footfall and revenue. The study will assist with early discussions with the Planning Authority and statutory consultees and will inform the business plan viability for various options for our client and her potential funders.
